J&J to deliver 3M vaccines next week in US upon EUA

United States government will be ready to distribute at least 3 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine next week, upon receiving the emergency use authorization from Food and Drug Administration, the White House coronavirus response team announced on Wednesday.

White House coronavirus czar Jeffrey Zients assured that the rollout would occur "without delay" and would "mirror the current allocation process across jurisdictions, pharmacies and community health centers".

Zients also noted that since the government was satisfied with the performance of the retail pharmacies program, the US will increase the allocation to pharmacies to 2.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines. The incoming numbers mark a 5th consecutive week of shot supply increase, which accounts for almost a 70% vaccine growth since the Biden-Harris administration stepped in.
