Salesforce: Q4 revenue up 20% YoY to $5.82 billion Inc. revealed on Thursday that its total revenues amounted to $5.82 billion in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021, representing a 20% increase compared to the previous year's corresponding trimester.

Gross profit jumped 19% year on year to $4.34 billion. Net income rose to $267 million in the three-month period that ended with January 31, 2021, compared to a net loss of $248 million in the same quarter in 2020. Diluted earnings per share hit $0.28 in the fourth trimester of fiscal 2021 from a $0.28 loss per share in the equivalent period the year prior.

For the entire 2021, total revenues were $21.25 billion, a figure 24% higher than in 2020. Gross profit amounted to $15.8 billion in 2021, representing a rise of 23% from last year. Diluted earnings per share grew from $0.15 recorded in 2020 to $4.38 in the 12-month period ending with January 31, 2021, as net income skyrocketed from $126 million to $4.07 billion.

Salesforce's stock lost 3.88% in after-hours trade following the release of the report.
