Former GE executive to become Icahn Enterprises CEO
A billionaire and chairman of Icahn Enterprises, Carl Icahn (pictured left), tapped former General Electric Company executive Aris Kekedjian to become the new CEO of the company, Icahn unveiled on Sunday.
The firm is also looking to hire a new finance chief, while Icahn intends to remain the chair of the Board of Directors, he told The Wall Street Journal in an interview on Sunday.
Kekedijan previously spent 30 years at the General Electric Company, serving as the head of GE's business in Europe as well as the Boston-based firm's chief financial officer.
