Heathrow: Timeline for int'l travel return needed

Heathrow Airport Chief Executive Officer (CEO) John Holland-Kaye stated on Monday it was disappointing British Prime Minister Boris Johnson did not specify in his latest conference when the United Kingdom would resume international travel from and to its territory.

"Now that a safe, scientifically-backed process has been agreed upon, a clearer timeline for the return to international travel is needed," Holland-Kaye stressed.

Earlier in the day, Johnson said the government was working on creating passports that would show one had been vaccinated against COVID-19 and was thus able to travel. Still, he did not reveal when tourist activities would resume.
