Asia-Pacific equities mixed after RBA decision

Major Asian stock markets were mostly lower on Tuesday after the Reserve Bank of Australia held the interest rate steady. In other news, the South Korean finance ministry warned that, due to coronavirus, the country's national debt grew by the largest-ever amount during last year.

In Mainland China, the Shanghai Composite slipped 0.17% below the flatline at 7:34 am CET, while the Shenzhen Composite lost 0.43% a minute later. Hong Kong's Hang Seng was closed for a public holiday.

Japanese Nikkei 225 fell 1.15% at 7:34 am CET. The dollar was flat against the yen, to go for ¥110.2130 at 7:34 am CET.

South Korean Kospi Composite rose 0.26% at 7:36 am CET. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 grew 0.94% at 7:35 am CET.
