JPMorgan CEO: Economic boom could run into 2023

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon noted on Wednesday that a "likely" economic "boom" in the United States may extend into 2023.

In his annual letter to shareholders, Dimon cited "excess savings, new stimulus savings, huge deficit spending, more QE, a new potential infrastructure bill, a successful vaccine and euphoria around the end of the pandemic" as the main drivers of a strong rebound from the coronavirus pandemic's economic impact.

However, he also warned that government investments, especially those related to infrastructure, should be "spent wisely" in order to result in "more economic opportunity" for all Americans.
