Iran confirms Natanz strike suspect, calls for army readiness

The Iranian Intelligence Ministry confirmed on Saturday earlier reports Reza Karimi was the prime suspect for the attack on the Natanz nuclear facility. It added that Karimi had left the country and that it was taking legal steps to arrest him.

Meanwhile, the country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged the military on the occasion of Iran's Army Day to "keep increasing [this] preparedness as needed and play a role."

Earlier, Tehran accused Israel of launching the attack and began enriching its uranium products by up to 60%. The European Three (E3) – France, Germany, and the United Kingdom – and the United States slammed the latter act as a "provocative" move that should be taken "seriously."
