All US adults to become eligible to request COVID vaccine - report

All adult citizens in the United States have become eligible to request a COVID-19 vaccine since Monday, meaning the April 19 deadline set by the Biden administration has been successfully met, Axios reported on Monday.

The federal states that concluded the list today were Vermont, New Jersey, Oregon, Hawaii, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. According to the New York Times, the US has pushed the daily number of people getting inoculated against the disease to around 3.2 million.

The data revealed that over 50% of the country's 210 million population has received at least one vaccine dose, while nearly a third has been fully vaccinated. If the inoculation campaign continues at this pace, more than 70% of the total American population will be vaccinated by mid-June.
