Boeing to turn to positive cash flow soon - CEO

At Boeing's annual meeting company's chief executive officer Dave Calhoun shared that he anticipates the return of positive cash flow in the near to medium term future as there are encouraging signs of a turnaround in the coronavirus crisis and 2021 will most likely be the "inflection point".

"We want to get back to a dividend policy. I can't give you a date and we need a return in our commercial aviation department to support that," Calhoun noted, adding that Boeing is also "invested in every way" in its space projects.

Earlier, the aircraft manufacturer announced it would be extending the retirement age limit to allow Calhoun to hold his seat for another 5 years, as he only took the post in 2020, a little before the pandemic hit, and was guiding the company through the COVID-19 crisis.
