The DAX closed 1.55% in the red as Infineon dropped over 4%. The CAC 40 tanked 2.09% on the Euronext with Atos as the weakest performer sliding nearly 6%. The FTSE 100 was down 2% at the end of trading in London; British American Tobacco plummeted 7.71% on news of the Biden administration considering lower nicotine levels in cigarettes. The euro declined 0.01% against the dollar at 5:40 pm CET, buying 1.20371.
