Asia trades mostly higher ahead of RBA decision

Equities on the Asian markets traded mostly higher on Tuesday with investors awaiting the Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) monetary policy statement and interest rate decision.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 0.13% at 4:20 am CET as South Korea's Kospi Composite fell by 0.44%. At 4:21 am CET, the Australian S&P/ASX 200 went up by 0.19%. The dollar traded 0.16% higher against the yen, going for ¥109.2525 at 4:22 am CET.

Markets in Japan and in mainland China are closed for a market holiday.
