US stocks lower premarket with earnings in focus

Stocks on Wall Street declined in premarket trading on Tuesday as investors anticipated a new batch of corporate earnings. Companies including Pfizer and CVS are scheduled to report before the bell, while T-Mobile, Lyft and Virgin Galactic are set to publish their results after today's session ends.

The Dow Jones lost 0.10% at 4:05 am ET, the Nasdaq 100 fell 0.26% and the S&P 500 was down 0.17% at the same time.

The euro slid 0.39% against the dollar to go for 1.20160 at 4:06 am ET.
