Two COVID cases in India G7 delegation - report

There have been two COVID-positive individuals among India's delegation attending the G7 meeting in London, Sky News reported on Wednesday citing senior government sources.

The delegation is taking part in the London meeting for discussions despite India not being a part of G7. India's Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said that he was exposed to possible positive cases and that he will attend the meeting virtually. The G7 is set to hold its main meeting in Cornwall in June.

The members of the Indian delegation are reportedly in self-isolation. The news comes as India reported 382,315 new coronavirus cases and 3,780 deaths in the past 24 hours.
