Wall Street flat premarket with unemployment in focus

Major stock market indexes in the United States traded flat in the premarket session on Friday, as investors are waiting for the key April nonfarm payrolls report. Meanwhile, the Federals Reserve stated that a decline in risk appetite could lead to a drop in asset valuations, following a steady rise in asset prices from already elevated levels.

Following yesterday's record close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was flat at 4:28 am ET. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 also traded flat at 4:32 am ET.

The euro gained 0.14% on the dollar trading for $1.20810 at 4:30 am ET.
