Deutsche Telekom plans to raise stake in T-Mobile US - report
Deutsche Telekom AG is planning on increasing its stake in T-Mobile US Inc. in order to permanently push into the United States telecommunications market, according to the report published by Handelsblatt on Tuesday.
The newspaper cited sources familiar with the plan, saying it is expected to be officially announced by Deutsche Telekom Chief Executive Timotheus Hoettges on May 20.
Both the stocks of Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile registered losses shortly following the release of the report.
