Nadella: Microsoft isn't looking to be cool

Microsoft's Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella stated on Wednesday that he isn't looking for Microsoft to be cool, but rather that the company is there to "make others cool."

In an interview with Axios, Nadella shared his vision where Microsoft tools are used by programmers to code for any platform. He asserted that software engineers would want to come to Microsoft's developer conference even if they were "building an iOS app or an Android app, or an app for Google's Cloud or AWS," highlighting the versatility of the company's tools. Moreover, Nadella also noted that Microsoft plans to expand GitHub even more, with organizations supporting their open-source projects.

Yesterday, Nadella teased that there will be the biggest upgrade in a decade and asserted that the PC is coming out of the pandemic stronger than it was coming in.
