Tesla recalls another 7,696 Model 3, Model Y cars - report

Tesla Inc. informed the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that it is recalling an additional 7,696 Model 3 and Model Y cars due to seatbelt issues, according to NHTSA data released on Thursday.

One recall, affecting 5,530 Tesla vehicles, noted that "one or both fasteners that secure the front seat shoulder belt to the b-pillar may not be properly attached," while the other recall of 2,166 units stated that "one or both fasteners that secure the left and right second row seat belt retractors may not be properly attached."

Yesterday, the NHTSA revealed that Tesla recalled another batch of 5,974 cars from the same two classes, with the recall document saying that "the brake caliper bolts may be loose, allowing the brake caliper to separate and contact the wheel rim."
