US flat in premarket ahead of unemployment rate report

Equities in the United States traded in the flat territory in premarket on Friday as traders are waiting for the latest update on the country's unemployment rate. A report on the nation's factory orders will also be released in the day.

Earlier, President Joe Biden banned American investments in 59 Chinese firms as their operations represent a threat to the country's security.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average, the Nasdaq 100, and the S&P 500 all stood flat at 4:30 am ET. The euro lost 0.12% to the dollar, selling for $1.21127 at 4:27 am ET.
