US flat to higher premarket with infrastructure talks in focus

Shares on the major stock markets in the United States traded flat to higher in the premarket on Wednesday with the investors digesting the latest developments in the negotiations on the infrastructure package.

While the talks between country's President Joe Biden and Republican senators led by Shelley Moore Capito flunked, a bipartisan group of 58 lawmakers from the Problem Solvers Caucus proffered a $1.25 trillion proposal as opposed to the $1.7 trillion package that the Biden administration has been advocating.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average stood flat at 4:23 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 rose by 0.16% at the same time. The S&P 500 concurrently gained 0.07%. The euro advanced 0.14% versus the dollar, selling for 1.21902 at 4:24 am ET.
