US mostly muted premarket ahead of data

Equities on Wall Street traded mostly flat in the premarket session on Thursday, as investors waited for the latest round of data reports to give an indication of the state of inflation in the United States.

Before the markets open, the initial jobless claims report for the previous week will be published, alongside the May consumer price index. Meanwhile, traders will also be keeping an eye on how the announcement of a review of possible changes to stock pricing and trading will pan out.

The Dow Jones and the S&P 500 traded flat at 4:21 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 was 0.25% down a minute later at 4:22 am ET. The euro declined 0.17% against the dollar trading for $1.21595 at 4:24 am ET.
