Israel to react more aggressively to future Gaza violence

Israel's Prime Minister Naftali Bennett (pictured) stated on Sunday that the new government intends to react with greater aggression to any future potential violence in the Gaza Strip.

Bennett stressed that "Israel's patience has run out," adding that the country's enemies will "get to know the rules." Furthermore, he stressed that the terrorist groups residing in Gaza will have to get used to a new view of "initiative, aggressiveness, and innovation," and that his government intends to "act with determination."

Bennett's comments come amid intense scrutiny of Israel's handling during the 11-day conflict with Hamas last month, as the country tried to work with the United States to better ties with Palestine.
