Wall Street closes higher on Fed's upbeat remarks

Major stock markets in the United States continued their rally on Monday closing the trading session higher, as investors were bolstered by the more optimistic projections from Federal Reserve officials. Fed's Bullard stated that the US is projected to have a strong labor market, while his Dallas counterpart predicted a 6.5% US GDP growth in 2021.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive of New York's Fed John Williams estimated the economy will grow 7% this year and that it still isn't at a high enough level to pair the federal government's stimulus policy.

The Dow Jones ended the session 1.76% or 586 points higher, with American Express up 4.26%. The S&P 500 closed 1.40% in the green, as APA Corp gained 7.31%. The Nasdaq 100 increased 0.62%, with Moderna gaining 4.54%. The euro was 0.45% up against the dollar trading for $1.19170 at 4:01 pm ET.
