UK to scrap quarantine for fully vaccinated in August - report

The British government plans to lift the mandatory quarantine rule for the United Kingdom citizens returning from the so-called amber list countries, given they have been fully vaccinated, The Times reported, citing its Whitehall sources.

The outlet explained that the decision will be announced on Thursday, but that the relaxation of measures can be expected in August at the earliest.

Earlier during the day, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned that travelling overseas isn't likely to return to normal in its entirety until 2022.
