Dow down by 400 pts in premarket ahead of data

Equities in the United States traded lower in the premarket on Thursday ahead of the latest reports on initial jobless claims and crude oil stocks. Earlier, over 30 states sued Alphabet Inc.'s Google over alleged antitrust issues. Meanwhile, the country's crude inventories reportedly declined the previous week.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank by 1.17% or 405 points at 4:30 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 dropped by 1.05%, and the S&P 500 lost 1.06%.

The euro rose by 0.21% against the dollar to sell for $1.18150 at 4:26 am ET.
