Boeing's Dreamliner issue to cause production delays - report
The Boeing Co.'s 787 Dreamliner production has encountered new production issues, further delaying the delivery of the aircraft, the Wall Street Journal reported. People familiar with the matter told the newspaper the problems could "take at least three weeks to address."
The aerospace giant already halted Dreamliner deliveries in May in order to improve safety regulations, as requested by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). According to the report, the new issues "pose no immediate safety threat" but are expected to slow down the production rate, which is currently five Dreamliners per month.
