Trump ally Barrack pleads not guilty in lobbying case

Chairman of former President Donald Trump's 2017 inaugural committee,
Tom Barrack (pictured), pleaded not guilty to federal charges of illegally lobbying on behalf of the United Arab Emirates.

Trump's longtime adviser was arraigned in a federal court in Brooklyn on a seven-count indictment. He was accused of acting as a foreign agent for the UAE, obstruction of justice, conspiracy and four counts of making false statements to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Barrack was freed from custody on Friday after posting a $250 million dollar bond.
