Honda halts production in Vietnam, Malaysia
The Honda Motor Company Ltd. announced on Wednesday it has suspended production of motorbikes in three Vietnamese plants over the coronavirus-related shortage of parts.
Honda noted that the movement restrictions in Vietnam and other neighboring countries affected the production, which will be halted between July 26 and July 30.
Meanwhile, the Japanese automaker also said that the lockdown measures in Malaysia led to a temporary halt in car production in this country.
