US senators reach bipartisan deal on infrastructure

United States President Joe Biden and a group of bipartisan senators announced the GOP and Democrats reached an agreement on infrastructure.

"After decades of neglect, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal makes critical investments across our country to repair and rebuild our infrastructure," the White House stated.

The $1.2 trillion package will include a $73B investment in clean energy transmission, including electrical vehicle charging stations, as well as a $50 billion investment in protecting the country from "impacts of climate change and cyber-attacks."
