Allianz's revenues rise 10.9% to €34.3B in Q2
Allianz SE revealed on Friday that its total revenues amounted to €34.3 billion in the second fiscal quarter of 2021, after gaining 10.9% compared to the same trimester the year prior.
In the year's second quarter, the operating profit surged 29.4% on an annual basis to reach €3.31 billion. Meanwhile, net income soared 45.5% on the year to reach €2.35 billion. Diluted earnings per share jumped 41.8% compared to the second quarter of 2020, coming in at €5.22.
"I am pleased by the continuous focus on underwriting discipline and productivity in our Property-Casualty business segment. Our balance sheet is strong and we are a reliable partner for our customers," company CFO Giulio Terzariol commented.
