Israel retaliates, targets Hamas in Gaza

Israel Defense Forces revealed that their fighter jets and helicopters hit "a Hamas machine gun post, storage site and military compound" after a rocket was fired toward southern Israel earlier.

"Hamas is responsible for all terrorist attacks emanating from Gaza," the IDF claimed in a Twitter post.

The Iron Dome Aerial Defense System intercepted the rocket that was launched from Gaza.
