US relocating immigrants from Mexico border camps

The United States Homeland Security Department said on Saturday that it has started relocating around 2,000 migrants to processing stations outside the Mexico border strip.

"In order to ensure that irregular migrants are swiftly taken into custody, processed, and removed from the United States consistent with our laws and policy," these kinds of transfers will continue, the official statement noted.

The majority of migrants are presumed to be Haitians, officials from both the US and southern countries such as Brazil and Chile confirmed.
