Adobe's Q3 revenue rises 22% to record-high $3.94B

Adobe Inc. revealed on Tuesday the company's revenue in the fiscal year's third quarter came in at an all-time high of $3.94 billion, up 22% compared to the prior year's third trimester. The largest contribution to the figure was the company's digital media segment, which posted a $2.87 billion revenue after an annual increase of 23%

During the same period, the company's diluted earnings per share were $2.52, marking a 28% rise compared to the same quarter a year earlier.

"Adobe had another outstanding quarter as Creative Cloud, Document Cloud and Experience Cloud continue to transform storytelling, learning and conducting business in a digital-first world," Adobe President and CEO Shantanu Narayen commented.

Despite the upbeat results, the firm's shares tumbled over 3.5% in the after-hours trade.
