ASML forecasts $28-35B sales amid chip shortage

ASML Holding NV reported on Wednesday increased financial forecasts, predicting revenue growth of around 11% annually through 2030 due to increased demand for its products resulting from the ongoing global chip shortage.

In a pre-market statement, the Dutch company estimated revenue of between $28 billion and $35 billion in 2025, with gross margins up to 55%.

"Global megatrends in the electronics industry, supported by a highly profitable and fiercely innovative ecosystem, are expected to continue to fuel growth across the semiconductor market," ASML said in a statement, explaining the increase from a previous forecast that put the expected company sales around the $17.5–28 billion range.
