France: UK fishing policies unacceptable

French Prime Minister Jean Castex slammed on Tuesday the United Kingdom's fishing policies, which he claims are in violation of the Brexit agreement. Castex said the UK has been denying fishing licenses to French nationals and imposing additional conditions, which he described as "unacceptable."

Castex called on the European Commission to be "firmer" with the UK and ensure London complies with its commitments. He also threatened to seek an arbitration panel and re-examine its bilateral relations with the UK if necessary.
