Virginia Dems file complaint against Youngkin campaign - report

The Virginia Democratic Party filed a complaint against Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin's campaign over its ads allegedly violating state law by failing disclaimer requirements.

"These non-compliant advertisements have run thousands of times and have been seen by potentially millions of voters," the party wrote in the complaint obtained by The Hill.

Virginia Democrats claimed that the ads didn't include an "unobscured, full-screen picture containing the candidate" and urged the State Board of Elections to "immediately" convene a hearing and fine Youngkin $130,000.
