Supply issues hurt French auto sector - Villeroy
Bank of France Governor Francois Villeroy de Galhau (pictured) noted that the supply issues inflicted the most damage to the country's automotive industry.
However, the most recent economic data indicators underline that a "strong recovery" is taking place, he told the France Info radio on Tuesday, adding that GDP growth projections of 6.3% for 2021 and 3.7% for 2022 are confirmed.
The Bank of France is closely monitoring "the supply difficulties, the rise in the prices of raw materials and energy" and hiring issues, according to Villeroy de Galhau.
