IAEA monitoring of Iran no longer 'intact' - Grossi

International Atomic Energy Agency Director-General Rafael Mariano Grossi said that the agency's monitoring program in Iran is no longer "intact."

In an interview with NBC, Grossi stated that Tehran refused to repair cameras at one of its major nuclear facilities and expressed concerns the IAEA may never be "able to reconstruct the picture" of what is happening in Iran.

The UN agency's head added that he had "no indication" Tehran is currently seeking to develop a nuclear bomb but stressed he has not been able to establish direct communication with the Iranian government after Ebrahim Raisi took over as president.
