UAE says it's 'fully committed' to OPEC+ deal

The United Arab Emirates is "fully committed" to the oil output agreement between the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and allied oil-producing nations, the country's Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure noted on Thursday.

The ministry pointed out that it does not have a predetermined negotiating stance with which it would go into the alliance's next meeting.

Yesterday, it was reported that the group may alter its plans about raising oil production after multiple other global powers announced they will release oil from their respective reserves. The UAE and Kuwait were said to be opposing any suspension of the OPEC+ deal.
