Israeli PM to Blinken: Iran nuclear talks should stop

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett (pictured) urged on Thursday "the world powers" to stop the negotiations on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), currently underway in Vienna, in a phone call with United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The prime minister's office issued a readout of the call, in which Bennett described Tehran's actions as "nuclear blackmail," and called for an "immediate halt" to the talks.

Bennett also advised against lifting the US sanctions on Iran, the statement showed.
