Saudi Arabia condemns Houthi attack on Abu Dhabi

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the terrorist attack that on Monday targeted the Abu Dhabi International Airport. A drone attack by the Houthis was aimed at a crucial oil facility in Abu Dhabi and killed three people, also causing a fire at the International Airport, the police stated.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry stated that the Houthi terrorist assault "reaffirms the danger of this terrorist group and its threat to security, peace and stability in the region and the world." The kingdom also offered its condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of the United Arab Emirates.

Other Gulf states, such as Bahrain and Kuwait, followed in their condemnation of the terrorist attack and support for the UAE. The foreign ministries of Yemen and Jordan also stand in solidarity with the victims of the assault, reiterating that the safety of the citizens of the region against any terrorist organization is one of their main concerns.
