Kerry: Govts investing too little in clean energy

United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry said on Wednesday that governments around the world are "investing too little" in clean energy and urged them to "pick up the pace" of steps taken to fight climate change.

Speaking virtually at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Kerry praised the agreements made during the 2021 United Nations Climate Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, including the deal to cut methane emissions by 30% by 2030.

The US envoy acknowledged that Glasgow marked a "huge step forward" but stressed that still no one is moving fast enough to tackle the climate challenges.
