UK: Russia wants pro-Russian leader in Ukraine

The United Kingdom's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office accused Moscow of trying to install a pro-Russian leader in Ukraine.

The office added that "we have information" that Russia is currently considering if it should invade Ukraine or not.

Earlier this month, British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss stated London is preparing a set of sanctions it will impose on Moscow if it launches military action against its neighbor. Later, Defense Minister Ben Wallace confirmed Britain has provided Ukraine with new military equipment.
