Meta stops new users from joining CrowdTangle

Due to "some staffing constraints", Meta Platforms Inc. has put a hold on new clients joining its social media monitoring software CrowdTangle, a Meta spokesperson stated.

CrowdTangle has recently been struggling with staffing changes and issues due to the introduction of a new data and transparency team. Organizations and individuals use the program to follow, analyze, and report on publicly available information on Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit.
