Germany: Incidence crosses threshold of 1100 first time

The nationwide 7-day incidence in Germany reported by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) has exceeded the threshold of 1100 for the first time.

The value stood at 1073 the day before. The overall incidence was 772.7 a week ago. Within one day, health offices in Germany reported 189,166 new COVID-19 cases to the RKI.

Across Germany, 182 deaths were recorded within 24 hours, according to the new data.
