Putin ready to send delegation for Ukraine talks - Kremlin

The Kremlin said on Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to send a delegation to Minsk for talks with Ukraine after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky invited Putin for negotiations to end the conflict between the two countries.

Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov noted Putin is prepared to send a delegation consisting of Defense Ministry and Foreign Ministry officials, as well as representatives of the presidential administration for talks with Kiev.

Peskov reminded reporters that Putin insisted the purpose of Russia's intervention in Ukraine was to help Donbass, "including through the demilitarization and denazification" of Ukraine, stressing that is an "integral component" of achieving Ukraine's neutral status. Meanwhile, Zelensky has said he is ready to discuss Ukraine's neutrality.
