China urges US to release data on bioweapons
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian (pictured) called on the United States to publicly release information about the military biological laboratories in Ukraine and elsewhere that were funded by Washington.
The US should especially explain data on the "viruses" that had been in Ukrainian biolabs and "the nature of the research on them," he said at a press conference on Tuesday, according to the TASS news agency. "Under the pretext of cooperation to reduce biological security risks and protect global health, the US controls 336 laboratories in 30 countries," the Beijing official underlined.
Last week, the Russian Defense Ministry showed evidence of Kiev destroying all traces of a "military biological program being implemented in Ukraine, funded by the United States Department of Defense."
