EU will have to go 'beyond' with war in Europe - Michel

The European Union will have to put in extra efforts into securing stable prices of food and energy in the light of the Ukraine crisis, European Council President Charles Michel said on Sunday.

"With war again in Europe, we have to go beyond the usual areas of reflection and deal with the situation," Michel added in a tweet.

He previously warned that the bloc needs to form a new energy plan and make its market less dependent on Russia.
