Oil prices return to losses, go under $100 per barrel

The prices of oil turned on Wednesday to losses after initially experiencing gains following the Energy Information Administration's (EIA) latest report, which showed a weekly rise of crude oil stockpiles in the United States by 4.3 million barrels to 415.9 million barrels.

Previously, the American Petroleum Institute's (API) newest update reportedly revealed the US's oil inventories went up by 1.75 million barrels.

West Texas Intermediate declined by 0.61% at 1:47 pm ET to sell for $95.80 per barrel. At that time, Brent decreased by 1.33% to go for $98.58 per barrel.
