Europe opens higher ahead of data

Major stock markets in Europe opened higher on Thursday ahead of the newest reports on services and manufacturing sectors in Germany, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. Investors will also focus on the meetings of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Group of Seven (G7), and the EU on the matter of Russia's military intervention in Ukraine.

The DAX opened 0.16% higher as Delivery Hero SE grew by 1.62%. The FTSE 100 rose by 0.08%, with Sainsbury PLC increasing by 1.49%. The CAC 40 advanced by 0.18% as Thales Group went up by 0.99%.

The euro lost 0.25% to the dollar at 8:58 am CET to sell for $1.09769. At the same time, the pound sterling declined by 0.15% against the greenback to go for $1.31841.
