Oil turns to gains on news of fire at Aramco's facility

Crude futures moved to the green on Friday amid reports that a large fire broke out at Saudi Aramco's facility in Saudi Arabia's western city of Jeddah.

With the cause of the fire still unknown, a spokesperson for the Yemeni Houthis, Yahya Saree, hinted in a tweet that the group could claim responsibility for what the media suggested might be a rocket attack.

After recording losses earlier today, West Texas Intermediate for May deliveries added 1.06% at 11:33 am ET, selling for $113.53 per barrel, while Brent for settlements in May went up by 1.08% a minute later to $120.22 per barrel.
